For more than 14 years of existence, Rural Urban Partnership for Africa (RUPFA) has been committed to community development and protecting environment activitiesa to achieve sustainable development in empowering poor and needy people, reverse migration in various forms and promote self-reliance. RUPFA story started from 2009 with six dedicated staff made of both permanent and volunteers team. Ghana was the first country, currently as the headquarters, to start our operations from and after three years we expanded to Benin and Burkina Faso.

Today we are operating in twenty-one countries headed by Country Directors. We have supported over 8 million people made up of women, children, youth, physically challenge, farmers cooperatives, networks, etc from over 711 communities in over 39 regions, districts, province, chiefdoms from twenty-one different countries. We have participated in International Conferences such as UNFCCC COPs, ICD-Institute of Cultural Diplomacy forums, Berlin Germany, International City and Civil Society Summit Istanbul – Turkey, UN World Environmental Day 2022, etc.
